Welcome back! I’ve got just a quick update for you this week.
This is why I haven’t been blogging for the past two months:
I’ve spent most of June getting the new office ready for you.
The walls have been soundproofed. The doors hung and painted. The furniture hauled in.
And now I’m adding the finishing touches.
You know, the itty bitty stuff that makes it homey. Knickknacks. Rugs. Plants. Art.
And during a Texas summer, it’s crucial to have water handy at all times.
This practice is all about you.
It’s about helping you take better care of yourself.
It’s about one very important lesson: how to put yourself first.
Even if you’re a caregiver,
or a mother of four,
or you run a team of twenty at work…
…you have to take care of yourself in order to take care of others.
It’s the neatest thing to watch how all that good stuff spills over to others. But you have to start with yourself.
So, love yourself enough to fill yourself up!
Need some ideas on how to do that this summer? I’ll be posting regularly again starting next Tuesday.
Next week, I promise you some new ways to help keep your tank full.
I know I was gone a while with the office project! It’s good to “see” you again.
